Evaporation at the wet-end of a paper machine is often as high as the evaporation thru the drying process. Uncontrolled wet-end exhaust will cause the evaporation to dissipate over the building ceiling and eventually destroy the roof.
PremiAir provides the industry with wet-end and mist exhaust systems which are adapted to the different types of machines: exhaust volume is kept to a minimum by capturing mist and water droplets generated at the source.
Each of the above systems use high efficiency water droplet elimination units (cyclone, blades, etc.) within a sophisticated duct network design to prevent fiber and stock
build-up.
The Wet-End Exhaust System consists of exhausting the hot vapours to atmosphere from save-all connections, from underneath the wire, from strategically located cross machine headers, from ductwork located near the headbox, and from cleaning showers. The system will consist of exhaust ductwork, cross-machine duct, balancing dampers, an exhaust fan, a cyclonic droplets separator and an exhaust stack.
